Hi! We are Stratefy, a Product Development agency, whose sole purpose is to help entrepreneurs, and early-stage startups, validate their business idea before building a product with no market need. Throughout research, prototyping, and testing we steer the product evolution on the right path.
About the job
You will work mostly on the UI of web and mobile applications, and be participating in all the stages of the project, with real impact on the overall outcome. We really believe in a joint effort and team play, so we are not looking for a “know-it-all” kind of guy. Rather, we are seeking for self-discipline, proactivity, and accountability. When there is an unknown problem, we expect you to look for a possible solution. We also believe that nobody is born almighty and thus, where you lack knowledge, it would be nice to compensate with a desire for fast learning and hard work.
What you will be doing
checkCreate sketches, wireframes, and prototypes for mobile and web apps;
checkDevelop and manage design documentation, like style guides or design systems;
checkDesign clean, aesthetic and intuitive interfaces;
checkPresent and explain your design proposals to the team;
checkWork together to ideate solutions and iterate quickly;
checkWhen the situation demands it, search and deliver answers to unknown problems on your own;
What we need:
checkCuriosity and a natural will for learning;
check Attention to details, perseverance, and patience;
checkYou like to tackle problems and see them as challenges, not dead ends;
checkYou have a sense of aesthetic and functional design;
checkA relevant portfolio of web/mobile app design examples;
checkGood knowledge about UI patterns;
checkUnderstanding of basic principles in Information Architecture, user journeys, user flows and usability;
checkComprehension of concepts such as Atomic Design, responsive design, grids, and baseline rhythm;
checkHave a grasp of design rules like white space, symmetry and visual hierarchy;
checkA keen eye for color palettes, typography, iconography, and imagery;
checkSkills using a design & prototyping tool like Adobe XD or Sketch. Nice to have: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator;
checkA nice to have (huge plus and a big differentiator): understanding of HTML, CSS and how the web works;
